Faith Over Fear: How to Maneuver In Faith

Have you ever wanted to do something different but was too intimidated???.....me too.

Years ago, I used to be very shy and everything intimated me. I had no courage. I was a wallflower, homebody, not very charismatic...any name you can call it, that was me. I didn't see who I was beyond where I was. Years later, God sent me an Elder and an Evangelist to speak directly into my life. They saw who God had intended me to be, but I didn't. They started encouraging me to see myself even as God saw me. I have mastered how to use faith against intimidation by doing the following:

  • Saying affirmations in the mirror (seems weird, but works...I promise).
  • Claiming those affirmations to be true.
  • Confiding in a spiritual adviser when you need to talk.

It might sound cliché but really subscribing to faith can change the course of how you maneuver through life. Here are a few scriptures that helps me face intimidation and over come. Philippians 4:13, Psalm 139:14, and Isaiah 41:10. Using these along with the listed routine above will help you to have Faith Over Fear.
